Summary
A leading agriculture and mining company needed to move beyond reactive, task-level maintenance fixes toward a more reliable, scalable approach to asset care.
ReVisionz helped the site move from largely incomplete task list records to complete, actionable asset information, refined preventive maintenance quality and moved PMs to the correct assets for accurate execution. The result freed site resources to focus on review, validation and sign-off rather than manual preventative maintenance (PM) development, saving them roughly 90% of the time the work would otherwise have required.
The program stayed on budget and delivered its defined scope despite significant disruption, including turnover in both the client’s project director and project lead roles. Results at the pilot site were strong enough that the client requested the program be rolled out to additional parts of the plant.
Challenges
- Frequent turnover in client sponsor and project lead roles.
- Extended gap in dedicated client-side project leadership.
- New stakeholders required buy-in from established teams.
- Internal tool used was not yet market-ready.
Solutions
- Advised on asset criticality processes and facilitated criticality workshops.
- Conducted an asset information audit to build the foundation for asset care plans.
- Analyzed historical work orders using the proprietary Mantis tool.
- Optimized preventive maintenance plans for improved quality and accuracy.
- Built business cases to support stakeholder buy-in through leadership turnover.
